So today as I was leaving work to go on my lunch break - I got into my car to head out when all of the sudden my car started making a beeping noise like "BEEEEP, BEEEEP, BEEEEP!" it seriously sounded like my car was going to explode :( and there was a little warning signal that looked a little like this...(!)... so I went to my grandparents house cause they lived like 2 minutes away and I got out my owners manual to take a look at what the signal meant and low and behold it meant that my tire pressure was low.
So I went out to inspect the tires because I was scared out of my mind to go fill up the tire by myself because I was in a skirt and I wanted to figure out which one needed it so I get hurry up and get it finished with. When I walked to the back passenger tire...there it was...a nail :( so I called Les Schwab and asked them how long it would take for them to fix it and they told me 30 minutes so to bring it on up. As I was driving on the tired the more flat it became - it got to the point where everyone and their dogs were looking at me as they passed saying to themselves "look at that idiot driving with a flat!" so I pulled into the tire place and went in and got all checked in where I was told it would take 30-35 minutes or less. And I would only be 10 minutes late for work.
I was SO relieved that I made it to the tire center without dying and I was super relieved that they would have it fixed in such short time that I would only be a few minutes late coming back to work. So I sat myself down and began waiting....and waiting....and waiting....45 minutes had passed and my car still hadnt been taken back so thats when I stood up and said something! They FINALLY got my car back and then the manager came up to tell me that the tire couldnt be fixed and that they didnt have a new tire of the one I needed to put on my car...then he said that they may have a used one they could put on just to hold me over until tomorrow when I can get a new one on...so I told him to go ahead and do that because I needed to get back to work asap! While they were putting that tire on another Les Schwab worker came and pulled me aside and told me to not let them try to sell me a new tire because he had found the exact tire that my car needed and it was basically brand new and it had as much tred and my other tires did so there would be no point in getting a new one when this one would work perfectly fine! I was blown away that he told me this and how he was so honest with me because normally people want a sale more then anything! So my car tire is fixed and I dont have to buy a new one thanks to the nice guy who was honest at Les Schwab! If I was his boss -
I would give him a raise :)
