I loooove Thanksgiving.

Always Have.

This year was kind of hard because it was the first Thanksgiving without
Grandma and Grandpa Blain :(
Grandma Blain was FAMOUS for burning the rolls and having a dry turkey.
It never failed hahaha.
Never thought I would miss those 2 things at Thanksgiving.
It still doesnt seem like they are gone...
It still doesnt seem like they are gone...
I would give anything to be able to call up my Grandma and just tell her about my day or just to see how she was doing let alone go over and visit her.
I know when my wedding day comes around that is going to be hard.
I remember after my first date with Cameron I went over to my Grandmas house the very next day and just raved and raved and raved about this handsome-perfect boy that I had gone out with the night before and how our first kiss was like a fairytale...
I then told my Grandma that he was "the one" and I knew that I was going to marry him.
Grandma was so unbelievably excited for me and she couldnt wait to meet my new prince charming.
HAHAHA and when she did Grandma was glued to Cameron...
Nooo joke if she would have been 50 years younger I would have had some straight up competition...
I remember one time inparticuler and it is a memory that I will NEVER forget...
Here it goes:
It was a few weeks before Christmas last year and my Grandma had called me on the way home from work asking me if there was anyway Cameron and I could come over later that week to help her put up her Christmas Decorations
*She was about to go into surgery so she was really weak - this is the surgey that took her from us :(*
I then told my Grandma that we would be more then happy to come down to help her and that we would come down that very night that we didnt have anything planned.
She was overjoyed that we were so willing to help on a Friday night.
When we got to my Grandparents house I began helping decorate for the holidays and Cameron was going to work on putting together a bathroom rack for her...
Cameron got done in no time and Grandma was shocked hahaha --- she kept telling Cameron
Cameron got done in no time and Grandma was shocked hahaha --- she kept telling Cameron
"You are so strong --- I cant believe you did that so fast!"
After awhile the house was as festive as ever and we sat down and were telling her about our new apartment we were moving into in a few days...
I could have sworn EVERYTHING I was telling my Grandma was going through one ear and out another.
Grandma was in a daze looking at Cameron with a big smile on her face...
Then out of no where she goes...
"Cameron you are so handsome!"
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
My beautiful Grandma was hitting on MY Cameron hahaha.
That is most definatly a memory I will never forget!
Love & Miss You Grandma & Grandpa Blain!
Keep watching over us!
