[One Hell Of A Morning]

Hahaha where to start.
This week hasnt been my week from the get go.
I have seriously been counting down the days until the end of the week. Thats how bad my week has been.

I am not going to get into any details about my week but I will tell you about the adventure my little guy Baxter had this morning.

Here we go...

So since our backyard is now fenced I decided it will be a great idea to open the back door and let him kind of run off some of his morning energy before I left for work.
I got all ready and he would pop his head in every once in awhile to make sure I was still home and right as I was getting ready to leave for work (I was already running a few minutes late) I called his name and he ran in like I was expecting him too.
Except for the fact that he had tonnnns and tonnnns of black dots matted into his beard and his feet. From far away it looked like dirt.
So I just chuckled and was like "damn you"...
When he got closer I noticed the black things were moving around...
Yep.
That is right ladies and gents Baxter had found an ant hole and decided to play king kong with them.
I couldnt believe it.
If you know me - you know that I had any kind of bug.
I dont trust them. Hahaha.
So this blew my mind. And of coarse Cameron had already left for work so it was up to me to take care of the situation.
(keep in mind I was ALREADY running late for work)

So I ran him downstairs and put him in our big shower because we have a retractable shower head. I thought that just by letting the water hit them they would fall right off.
Yeahhh definetly not.
It just made them stick more.
So I had to use my stinking nails and scrape them off.
I wanted to cry hahaha.
The feel of them made me sick to my stomach and they were EVERYWHERE.
I so badly wanted to leave him for when Cameron got home to clean up.
But the ants that were alive were crawling into his eyes and nose and I couldnt just leave my little guy like that all day.

Motherhood sucks sometimes hahaha.
I am just sooo grateful that we dont have our other dog yet because I know for a fact that Baxter would have showed his little sister or brother what he had just found.
And I would have had 2 dogs with ants everywhere hahaha.
Barrrrrf!

And needless to say I was only 10 minutes late for work.
I was quite impressed with myself hahaha.
