I thought I would share a couple of them :)
They were both made with the new philadephia cooking cream!
First One:
Baked Penne
This recipe was super yummy & will be going in my cook book :)
What you need:
1/2 lb.extra-lean ground beef
1/2 cupchopped onions and green peppers
*I didnt use green peppers and only put a little bit of onion in it*
1 jar(24 oz.) spaghetti sauce
1 tub (10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Italian Cheese and Herb Cooking Creme
1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese,
3 cups cooked penne pasta
How to make it:
*Heat oven to 350°F.
*Brown meat with vegetables in large nonstick skillet. Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme and 1/2 cup mozzarella: cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until mozzarella is melted. Add pasta; mix lightly.
*Spoon into 2-qt. casserole; top with remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover.
(HAHAHA after re-reading the recipe I didnt cover mine when I put it in the oven and it turned out great! So if you want to skip that step - feel free)
*Bake 20 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 15 min.
Next one...
Santa Fe Chicken Casserole
This one was delish also - but sad to say I wont make it again :(.
It had wayyy to much dairy stuff in it for my lactosed stomach to handle. But I still recommend it! :)
What you need:
3 cups shredded cooked chicken breasts
1 can(15 oz.) black beans, rinsed
1 can(14.5 oz.) no-salt-added diced tomatoes, drained
2 green onions, sliced
1 tub(10 oz.) PHILADELPHIA Santa Fe Blend Cooking Creme
3 flour tortillas (6 inch)
3/4 cup Mexican Style Finely Shredded Four Cheese
How to make it:
Heat oven to 375ºF.
Combine first 4 ingredients in large bowl.
Add 3/4 cup cooking creme; mix lightly.
Spoon 1/3 of the chicken mixture into 9-inch pie plate; top with 1 tortilla, half the remaining chicken mixture and 1/4 cup shredded cheese. Cover with second tortilla, remaining chicken mixture, 1/4 cup shredded cheese and remaining tortilla. Top with remaining cooking creme and shredded cheese; cover.
(Wow once again I didnt cover this hahaha - it still worked out fine)
Bake 20 min. or until heated through; uncover. Bake 5 min. or until cheese is golden brown.
Enjoy :)
Ps. If you have any recipes you would like to share with me - please feel free!
